About Anna Erickson

Anna Erickson began her career at Gagosian Gallery in New York City in 2002, where she worked for seven years as a Sales Director and managed exhibitions for notable artists, including Mike Kelley, Ghada Amer, Cecily Brown, and Damien Hirst, among many others. In 2009, Anna joined the gallery Haunch of Venison in Berlin as Director. There, she organized Damien Hirst's first large-scale exhibition in Berlin and also curated Yoko Ono’s first gallery exhibition in Germany. Anna returned to New York City in 2012 to work for Hauser & Wirth as a Director, where she worked in sales and managed several gallery artists for six years until she became an independent dealer.

Anna Erickson Presents is a project-based gallery that began in 2021 with a solo artist presentation at Untitled Miami. Anna has dedicated herself to providing a collaborative mentorship for each artist with the goal of creating memorable site-specific presentations and exhibitions. Drawing from her extensive background managing world-renowned artists and their exhibitions, as well as working at notable art fairs, her mission is to establish a foundation for each artist to present their work to the global art world and local communities. Anna is committed to providing a positive, nurturing, and transparent relationship with each artist.

Anna has represented galleries at numerous art fairs, including Art Basel, Art Basel Hong Kong and Art Basel Miami; Frieze London and New York; FIAC, Paris; West Bund Art Fair, Shanghai; TEFAF Maastricht, The Netherlands; and The Armory Show in New York. She has curated independent exhibitions at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn and in various locations in Miami and Berlin.

Anna grew up in Chicago and Nashville and has also lived in New York City, Miami, and Berlin, and currently lives and works in Nashville, Tennessee. She earned a Bachelor's Degree in Art History and Spanish from Arizona State University and earned a Master's Degree in Art Administration from FIT in New York City. Anna is known for her friendly and professional nature, her discretion, her commitment to respectful and ethical art dealing, and her extensive network of global contacts.
